Hey all,
I've been using RDC on my Intel Mac Pro for weeks without any problems.
(Mac OS X Version 10.4.8, RDC 1.0.3.) Suddenly I can't open RDC. When I
click RDC it bounces in the dock for a while, but hangs without opening
the app window. And then when I try to shut down, I get, "The
application RDC failed to quit and is not responding..."
I haven't touched any settings or updated the system recently, so I
can't figure out what's going on. I noticed this message from September
23rd that seems like a similar issue:

Has anyone else out there experienced this? If so, did you find a
solution?

After some more searching, I found it was a problem with saved
preferences. This message helped:

I have had similar unreliable behavior. Usually for me though, RDC
opens, but will not connect all the way to the PC - it only gives a
partial display. I started a topic about that in this forum. I did
find that removing the preferences helped sometimes, but not
consistently.
Remote Desktop is something that is worse than useless if it is not
reliable, so I hate to say that I finally broke down and bought a copy
of XP Professional and installed in on my intel MacBook using Boot
Camp, and now I boot into the XP partition when I want to use remote
desktop.

Hi,
I just installed RDC on my Intel iMac running Mac OS X 10.4.8 and tried
to run it but the icon in the dock bounces, stops bouncing and then
never opens.
Has anyone else had a similar problem?
Regards
