RDC Printing in Tiger / Intel

RDC seems unable to print when running in Tiger or on Intel boxes.

My company deployed about 75 new PowerMac G5 this summer, all of which
run Tiger. None of these machines can print from within the RDC
environment. (The server is running Windoze 2003.) Other users reported
similar problems in this forum around the second quarter of 2006.

Does anybody know what is happening, or whether there is a fix
available? The applications our Mac users run in RDC are
mission-critical.

I keep hearing this. I'm having no such difficulty on my MacBook Pro.
Just a data point.

Additional info: the RDC application quits unexpectedly. Success in
printing is unpredictable.

More followup from the same issue posted earlier...

Jeff...

Were you ever able to resolve RDC quitting every time you print using
an Intel-Based Mac? Like you I have isolated the problem to Intel and
not the printer. On my home network I was able to print from MS Server
2003 with an older Mac Mini, where RDC would crash with the MacBookPro.
Both computers were printing to an HP LaserJet 5MP connected to the
network via AssanteTalk.

I have a Mac Pro at work, but I have to print some forms from our
printer thru an RDC connection and every single time I print, RDC quits
unexpectedly.

I swear it used to work about a week ago, but I don't know what's
changed since then.  Maybe the latest Mac OS X update?
