Well, it still works fine for me under MacOS X 10.4.5. It's not so
obsolete.

I don't know...

Well, It is kind of obsolete now, as some of us have moved over to Macs
with intel processors. Any news of progression? It seemed faster on my
old PPC Mac.

True... It will need to be made Universal Binary to get faster. I hope
they'll release a new version :-\

if it doesn't run on Intel, install the version for X11.

it does work but is slow to start up and is laggy when typing - needs
to be made UniBin.

Mark,
I can confirm that it works on Intel - MacBook Pro, 10.4.7 via Rosetta.
I don't notice any real performance issue, probably because the Core
Duo's performance makes up for the Rosetta slowdown.
I believe that RDC is an obsolete and unsupported product by MS. It
hasn't been touched since 2004 and it doesn't even have an official
product number.
If you're on intel, I highly recommend using Parallels:
www.parallels.com. It blows away Virtual PC on performance and is more
stable.
Another option is to use vnc. Chicken of the VNC is the most popular
Mac vnc client. Search for it on versiontracker.
Hope that helps.

RDC 1.0.3 is an unsupported product. It does run under Rosetta right now,
but there are a couple of issues we're investigating. I will try and
monitor the newsgroups and answer questions for users.
In terms of any updates to RDC, we haven't announced anything at this time.
