Remote Desktop login problem

All of a sudden, I am having problems logging into my work PC running
XP Pro.  In the past, I have been able to connect without any problem.
The VPN tunnel always connects OK.  Lately, when I attempt to log into
a work machine with XP Pro, it stalls at the login screen.  The login
window comes up, titled "Welcome to Lincoln Composites, Inc." (my
employeer).  However, the window is empty, without any ID or password
fields, or buttons.  I cannot go any further.  After a while, the
session times out.

When I attempt to connect to other work machines without XP Pro, the
ususal login screen comes up without any problems.  It seems like a
network admin problem, but my IT guy doesn't know where to start with
this problem.  I can email a screenshot of this bizarre login screen,
if it would help anybody...

FYI, my home computer has:
Mac OS 10.4.2
Cisco VPN client v4.6.04
Microsoft Remote Desktop 1.03

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I could say that it is a VPN connection problum or a Remote desktop problum
between there and the service. It may be internet traffic or netowork traffic.
