I can not get RDC to start. I have used it regularly for about a month
and then today the icon bounces for a while in the dock and the the
program hangs. I removed the program and got a fresh copy from
microsoft but the problem persists.

Any thoughts?

Have you checked the EventLog on the Terminal Server?
Have you checked Licensing Manager for available TS licenses?

I have the same problem.  I know its not a windows terminal issue.  The
program on the MAC wont even launch.  I eventually have to force quit
RDC, but I never actually get an RDC window.  As you say the icon just
bounces in the dock.

Is there a way to make sure all RDC files are removed off this system
so my next install is virgin?
I removed the folder from apps, are there and prefs or hidden files?

Thanks

That is exactly the same thing that I am experiencing and I was
wondering the same thing about other RDC files. This doesn't appear to
have anything to do with terminal services.

Hello.
The problem lies with the RDC preferences on the Mac.
Navigate to /User/Library/Preferences/Microsoft/RDC Client and delete
files.

Launch RDC - and it'll ask you to accept Licence and wether you want to
register (just like it did when you first installed it).
FYI - Reinstalling the program makes no sods - 'cos the pref.s don't
get deleted or overwritten when you uninstall/reinstall.
