Dear friends,
First of all, i want to say hello to all of you before I talk about
what i am looking for. I am writing from Turkey. Well, the main thing
i m looking for is the question that is related to making a localized
dictionary file for Mac OSX's own dictionary application, due to the
fact that there is always a need for such a dictionary. Is there a way
to make my own dictionary out of XML codes or PHP codes? As you can
understand, I am a newbie at programming.

Install the developer tools, then study:

   /Developer/Extras/Dictionary\ Development\ Kit

and

   /Developer/Examples/Dictionary\ Development\ Kit

I have not tested either, but I get the impression that it is Apple's
intention that these allow you to make a dictionary.

There is also a document on dictionary building here:

http://developer.apple.com/documentation/UserExperience/Conceptual/DictionarySer
vicesProgGuide/index.html

It describes the XML format and how to use the tools which convert that to
a readable dictionary.
