What happened to Java 6?

It's not in Leopard (I just upgraded).

It's not on the ADC any more either.

It's not like anyone here can say what happened, but I'd point out that
it's been gone from ADC for a while as far as I know. That part's not
"all of a sudden" and therefore its absence from Leopard is not
completely without warning.

Looks like for whatever reason they're not shipping it on 10.5.

I'm far too lazy to actually read through much of the discussion, but you

It's not likely anyone here can say what happened, but I'd point out

(Superseded to fix a typo that was a real word and changed the meaning
of the sentence.)

I think specifically he was referring to the Java implementations for
cell phones..  On that I'm inclined to agree.
