Hello, all!
Is GMP included with the Developer Tools on Tiger?
I have an iBook 900 MHz G3 running Mac Os 10.4.9 with the latest version
of the Developer Tools installed from developer.apple.com (hadn't
upgraded the Developer Tools since installing them from the CD that came
with Jaguar).
I found gmp.h at /usr/local/share/cscc/include/gmp.h
However, when I try to ./configure Polymake
(<http://www.math.tu-berlin.de/polymake/index.html>), I get an error
message that gmp is not installed.
I have tried to "./configure" - "make" - "make check" gmp in the past,
but I got error messages from the "make check" so I didn't "sudo make
install".
Does anyone know 1) how to make "./configure" find gmp, if gmp is
installed with the Developer Tools or 2) how to install gmp without
errors if gmp is not installed with the Developer Tools?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
Sincerely,

No, but it's easily installed using fink or MacPorts.
