What's up with GetKeys?

Okay, am I nuts or is there something wonky with GetKeys and XCode?
No matter what I do, GetKeys returns all 0.

It is expected if "Secure Keyboard Entry" option is active in
Terminal.app.

Okay, so how do you turn it off?  I read something about it but I also
read that it's a stacked setup in that it remember how many times it
was made secure or something like that.

Dunno about getting 0, but remember this function has endian issues.
