Hello NG,

can someone explain me ( a non graphic professional) how I can get the
glossy effect for the default.png for a dashboard widget ?
I would like to make the graphic with gimp if that is possible.

Thank you for your time and help.

Thank you Phillip
Not Aqua. I think it is not the same. In the Dashboard ProgTopics
for example they say:"Aqua controls don't belong on the face of your
widget." I think it has to to with the same optical technics but in a
different style. The also say something about drop shadow is being done but
I can't find a description for the surface reflection.

Widgetarium <http://projects.gandreas.com/widgetarium> will
automatically render this for you (and with the latest beta, you can
even later change the size, rounding, style, color, etc... and have it
automatically regenerated).
