It is illegal to discuss Tiger. Either you know the answer to this
question (i.e. you're receiving beta seeds) or you don't. m.

It's not a violation of anyone's NDA to point to information that's
publicly available. The only thing I'm aware of that's new for Software
Update in Tiger is that Mac OS X Server users will be able to run their
own Software Update servers. See
<http://www.apple.com/server/macosx/tiger/> for a brief mention of that.

That's rather strong, don't you think? First, it's not illegal, it's a
breach of contract, and second, it's only a breanch of the NDA if you've
actually signed it and the information you discuss is covered by it.

I don't know the answer because I'm currently not a ADC subscriber. The
reason I'm not is because I can't afford it myself and my boss won't
pay for me to have it. If this functionality is something that might be
available in the future, I believe it's something that one of our
applications can leverage. Thus, I am trying to find out more
information about it so that I might be able to convince my boss to buy
a subscription for me.

I think the only publicly-available answer right now is that if you
_did_ have a paid ADC membership, you might know the real answer.
However keep in mind that the answer could well be "no".
