I try to print with an open type font:
Akzidenz Grotesk from Berthold.
The font is installed on the computer, Mac OS X 10.4.10, Xerox 7760GX
colour laser printer with true Adobe Postscript.

Printing my letterhead worked up to now, tried to print a different
weight at large size 144 pt/232pt), and instead of the letters ZK it
printed !".
to be precise: AkzidGrtskProBolIta.otf
It happened afterwards with the letterhead too (AkzidGrtskProReg.otf)

What could be wrong?
FontBook validates the font perfectly well.
I have 153 fonts as reported by FontBook.

Thanks in advance

Marc

Man, I work in that field and I have no clue than maybe to clear font caches
(FontNuke).  But I would narrow down the culprit:
- Same font, different apps at large size
- Different OFT fonts, same apps, large sizes
- a PDF made using Apple driver
- a PDF made using Distiller
- print to a different printer (non-PS or non-Adobe ... but you would think
Adobe PS is the right way to go.
- Contact Berthold!
