System1: DP MDD G4 with a DSL enet connection thru a Linksys WRT54G
router. OS 10.4.9

System 2: DA G4 sharing the same DSL connection only wirelessly thru
the WRT54G router. OS 10.14.9.

Printer: HP PSC 1210xi all-in-one.

The printer is connected to a USB hub so the DP MDD can print. If the
other computer needs to print, then we disconnect the printer USB cable
from the hub and connect to the DP USB cable. Crude but it works. I
don't want to leave the MDD on all of the time so using that as a print
server is not gonna happen.

I'd like a print server that will work with the HP printer that can
also be used wired and wirelessy.  Not necessarily at the same time but
without any hassles. Does anyone have any  recommendations for print
server that won't break the bank or my patience. Thanks.
