Version: v.X
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel
I am creating a powerpoint with mpg3 files which I want to play on other Macs. I save as a package, but when I open the file on another Mac instead of looking for the mpg3 in the folder the package has created it still looks for the original server they were taken from. Any help?

Hi,
Save as Package does not download files. It only copies files. You
should save the mp3 as a file, then insert it into your presentation.

Hi
Thanks for the prompt help. The files are saved mp3 files which have been added to each slide. In the package folder the mpg3 files are there but they don't seem to want to connect when you open the powerpoint on another machine. They still look for the originals.

Hi,
Are you sure they're copies of the files and not just aliases, URLs, or
shortcuts to the originals?
There would be no reason for the operating system to be trying to
connect to anything if they are actual mp3 files.
