In the standard powerpoiint template there are two text fields, one
for heading and one for text. I want to put in a third text field in
my template, with a different font and colour, for a section or
chapter heading, but can't find a way to do it.

Hello, what version of MacPPT are you using? in PPT2008 You can go to the Master Slide of any Theme and add whichever placeholders you want, then save that as a Theme file.

Thank you - we think we've managed to find this on our pc where we
have a newer powerpoint. I guess the client has to have the latest
version too, but then, that's his problem!
