I have 2 monitors. When I run PowerPoint (from Office 2004) on a
presentation and click Slideshow, one monitor gets my presentation, and the
other gets a bunch of other windows, like "next slide" etc. Is there any way
to customize or control this? What I want to see is "elapsed time" and
"notes". Is there any way to control what else is on the screens during a
presentation?

Hi there,

There is not a way to customize to see elapsed time in the Presenter
Tool view (which is what you are seeing on the monitor with all the
controls and thing).  Notes show up in the bottom right corner, where
you can add notes as you are presenting.  Also, you can choose see
what is coming up next (in slide or animation) graphically or
textually (that is the small window you see).

In Office 2008, we have added the functionality to choose between
showing real time or elapsed time.

Hope this helps!
Nancy
