Mac Forum / Applications / PowerPoint / May 2008pdfs in PPT still huge after SP1 update
PPT 2008 creates enormous pdf files; suchare 3 times the size as those created in PPT 2004. This is a known issue, and the SP1 upgrade did not address this problem. Any idea how long it will take Microsoft to correct this flaw? Ed Ed, We did make some changes to the way PPT handles PDFs in SP1 that addressed a number of issues we were seeing in the initial release. That said, there may still be some scenarios that we still need to address. Is there any way I can get a copy of the presentation you are having this issue with?
