How do I create a custom animation effect (such as Stretch) on each Data
Series of a chart (so that when I run slide show JAN data series entrance
then FEB data series entrance then MARCH data series entrance) in PowerPoint
2007... I have seen it done so I know it can be done but I can't see how to
do it

Hi there, assuming you have the chart in your slide...

1. Go to Slide Show, Custom Animation menu
2. In the Custom Animation pane, click on the Add Entrance Effect button and choose the effect that you want, like fly in or stretch.
3. Go to the Chart Animations panel/section at the bottom of the Custom Animation pane...and open that section.
4. There is a Group By option...and choose "By series".

That should do it! Hope this helps! Thanks,
Nancy
