Love the new 2008 edition for a Mac, but can someone tell me how to add separate transitions to each of my paragraphs that are in a single text box? The separate paragraphs are all coming in at the same time. Thanks SO much for your help!

Hi Charlie - you're just looking at the wrong feature:-) Transitions are
effects specifically applied to *slides*, not individual pieces of content
*on* a slide. Have a look at the toys in Slide Show> Custom Animation.

Hi Charlie,

Right-click (or control-click) on the shaded border of the text box you wish
to animate. Then choose Custom Animation from the pop-up menu.

Select and Entramce, Emphasis, or Exit effect.

Then click effect options.

Look for things like animate one line at a time, or word-by-word.

Not every animation supports fine-grain text animations, so if it's not in
the options for the one you picked, try another one.

Hi.. I used the APPEAR choice for line by line appearance.. on entrance options under animations. Thanks for the thumbs-up, I too was in the dark..and now my lines APPEAR one at a time rather than the whole slide. Pretty basic..but was not easy to find the right place to apply it !
