I work for a non-profit Diabetes Foundation.  I use a Mac to edit
slide decks for doctors, my boss uses a PC.  When I write comments on
PowerPoint (2004 for Mac) she can see them, but when she writes
comments on the PowerPoint from her computer (Microsoft 2003) they do
not come up when I open the file.  How can I get around this?  Is
there a feature I am not activating on 2004 that would allow me to see
comments made and saved on a PC?

Thanks
Sabrina

No, afraid not.  MS changed the way comments are done in PPT 2002 and later.
And left no backward compatibility at all ... silly of them.

This explains a bit more and gives a few ways to fix the problem (all of which
would require that your boss or someone else with a Windows PPT version do the
fix):

Convert PowerPoint 2002/2003 comments into PowerPoint 2000 comments
