I cannot get PowerPoint 2003 (or 2000) to receive sound through/from an "MXL
USB.006" microphone. When testing the mike, under "set microphone level," the
message reads "Powerpoint is not receiving sound from the microphone..." I've
checked the audio settings and they seem to be correct (like the picture in
the instructions). The microphone does work in Window's sound recorder. Plus
I've recorded before onto this computer through powerpoint in a studio, but
not through the USB port. Please help!

You've landed in the Mac newsgroup. You might try asking your question in
microsoft.public.powerpoint, where Windows questions are answered.
