Hello all,

We have exported a 24 slide PPT as a QT and brought it into FCP where
we need to time the slides to an hour long narration. Many of the
slides have content that animates on - in fact there are 54 pieces
that animate on. I'm thinking we need to cut each slide into its
animated parts and edit them together timed to the narration. I'd like
to know if there is a better/faster way to accomplish the goal.

Hi,

Within PowerPoint you can set timings.

From the SlideShow menu choose Rehearse Timings to set them as you play the
presentation.

Also from the SlideShow menu you can use the Set Transition time to adjust
an individual slide or apply a time to each slide of a presentation.

In slide sorter view you can see the timing for each slide under its
preview.
