Mac Forum / Applications / PowerPoint / May 2007PPT v X alternatives to .lst files
I'm looking for an alternative to the late (and at least in my case) lamented .lst files that used to be part of using Powerpoint. Trying to launch one yields a dialog that states they are no longer supported (true) and to search the PPT help for the alternatives (false). This search yields nothing helpful. TAJ, thanks for the suggestion. This looks very promising! Right now though I am receiving an error dialog box when I click "OK" to include the first file. This happens after I have selected the file and clicked the "Display as icon" check box. It states: The server application, source file, or item cannot be found. Check that the path and file name are correct, or try reinstalling the server application. I tried renaming the files so that they have no white space. The names of the files and the containing folder are all 8.3 compliant. Any ideas? |
