Hello, I am new to Macs and I bought Office:Mac to continue to use the
products for my class.  This will take a little explaining so please
bear with me.

As a part of my PowerPoint, I utilize a web browser-based animation
periodically.  On my laptop, I would install the files, copy and paste
the link, and start the presentation.  When I get to it, I simply
click the image and it would switch to the web browser and begin the
animation.

However, now that I am on Mac, the link does nothing.  When I right-
click it, the "open" option is greyed out.  I ran the test to ensure I
have all necessary programs (i.e. Safari, Quicktime, Shockwave, and
Flash).  It finds and passes all tests.  So I ended the presentation
and tried control clicking from the edit screen.  It crashes
PowerPoint every time.

I really need these to work and have no idea what to look at next.
Help!  :-/

Should have searched first.  I found the answer.  Apparently it was a
patch applied a while back that hasn't been fixed.
