Slide minatures in outline view

Hi,

I've switched to Mac and would love to change the outline view from an
outline to slide miniatures that I was used to on my old PC.  Or would
like to at least figure out a way to scroll with the arrow keys or page
up/down from one slide to the next, without skipping slides.  I found
an old post about this from 2003 which stated that slide miniatures
weren't allowed, but am hoping this has changed with newer versions of
PowerPoint.  I'm currently using version 2004.  Any help would  be MOST
appreciated.

Thanks,

Amy

Sorry Amy -

PPt Mac doesn't have the thumbnails pane in Normal View, only the outline
pane. The Page Up & Page Down keys *do* go to the next/previous slide or you
can use the Previous/Next Slide buttons at the bottom of the Vertical Scroll
Bar (double arrows).

It depends on where you've clicked last.

If you click on the outline pane, then page up/down takes you up/down a screen
at a time *in the outline pane*, which generally means more than one slide.

If you click on the slide pane, page up/down move you a slide at a time.

I forgot to mention - Option+Down/Up Arrow in the Outline Pane will navigate
slide to slide.

Thank you for all the help, everyone.  I'm totally bummed about the
lack of miniature slide view in outline view, but what can a girl do?
Thanks for the tips on moving from slide to slide - that will make life
a lot easier!

You could send the feature request to Microsoft.  It's come up here on
several occasions.  In PowerPoint X or 2004, go to Help > Send Feedback on
PowerPoint.  Otherwise, click on this direct link to enter Mac Product
