i've used caslon italic, for instance, in a ppt document. the
formatting is distorted so that it does not appear as italic when saved
as a quicktime movie. any suggestions? i've saved the type as eps and
also tried typing directly into ppt document. thanks, /a

Hi,

Did you chose the "quality" option when saving?  If not, try that.

If the font still does not appear correctly you'll need 3rd party
software such as Impatica or SnapZPro to capture the presentation as it
plays.
