Unwanted Formatting

I support a faculty member who is using PPT on his home computer and
keeps getting 3 dots on the right-hand side of each slide.  It started
after he created a huge PPT presentation with 50+ slides.  My guess is
that it's some kind of format setting, but if it were right-justified
bullet points, the text would not be on the left of the bullet points
as appears on his slides.  They also seem to be spaced as if they were
for a 3-hole punch.  I'm not sure what's causing it, so searching for
help is difficult.  Any ideas would be appreciated!
