Pictures on the mac version of powerpoint do not show up in the Windows version

Hi, whenever I create a powerpoint with pictures from the internet on
my Mac, and then send it to school for example, the pictures are
replaced with "Quicktime and TIFF (Uncompressed) decompressor are need
to see this picture." Why is this? Shouldn't my windows computer be
able to read normal files from the internet?

How did you insert the picture into the presentation?  Try inserting the
picture using Insert > Picture > From File.  That may eliminate the error.
