Folks. I'm taking a PowerPoint crash course with the PC version. I have
the MS Office X on the Mac. The instructor just showed the class some of
the cool stuff he did on one slide with a lot of animation motion paths.
Couldn't wait to get home and try out some of the animation tricks,
however it doesn't seem the motion path menu is available in the Mac
version. I don't think it is in MS Office 2004 either. If not, is there
a work around or any PPT plug-in for the Mac to emulate the motion
paths? Why would MS not include this very necessary animation function?
Thanks steve

You're correct that this function can not be setup in either v.X or 2004.
If the paths are setup in a PC version of PPT, they WILL function in a Mac
PPT show--but cannot be edited on a Mac. I know this to be true in 2004,
but I can't remember if it works in v.X. Hopefully someone will help me out
on this.

Oh Boy, what a bummer. Motion paths opened up a who new way to be extra
creative in PPT and now I don't have the function on the Mac version.
This doesn't make sense, so please MS engineers, include it in an update
for the Mac version. thanks steve
