Adding audio to Powerpoint for Mac

Is there any way to add a music track to a Ppt presentation so that the
music starts with the first slide and continues through until the last
slide without a break each time a slide moves on to the next one?

I can play e.g. a CD seperately but would like to somehow link the
audio to the presentation.

I have Ppt 2004 for Mac v 11.2.3 on a iMac G5

Thanks

Hi Rob,

It's always risky to answer questions when I am half-asleep.

Anyway, I think if on slide 1 you use Insert > Sound > From File and
when prompted you select to play automatically.  Then Control-Click on
the little speaker icon and choose Custom Animation and choose Play.

I think that's all there is to it, but I could have forgotten a step.

When you're in the Custom Animation dialog, select the sound in the right
hand pane, and then click the "Effect Options" button.  Then, click the
"Media Options" tab.  Under "Stop Playing", choose "After 999 slides", and
click OK to both dialogs.
