"click to advance to beginning of presentation"

I get the  message "click to advance to beginning of presentation"
instead of the usual "end of slide show, click to exit"  message
at the end of my PPt presentation.
It then does as it says--goes back to the beginning of the presentation,
and shows it again.

I am running XP sp2 and IE 6.0

any ideas why?

what can I change so that "end of slide show, click to exit" will appear?

many thanks in advance,
julie
