I am putting a ppt package on my work server.  I was wondering if there
is someway I can make it so that when somebody opens it, it
automatically will open in Slide Show mode and not in normal or edit
mode.

Also if there is anyway I can make it so someone can only view it but
not access it in normal mode that would work too...

thanks

Try saving it as a PowerPoint Show. Go to the File menu and choose Save As.
Under the Save As type, choose PowerPoint Show (*.pps).
