Hello All,

A question, I am working on a Power Point Presentation, if I export the
show into a PPS the images I have adjusted seem to look ok, meaning,
there contrast, color etc... are ok after I adjusted them in
powerpoint. Will the image settings be saved in the exported show, so
when they are burned on a disc they can be seen correctly on a PC?

How does this work, is there some file that saves the settings within
the program on export? Advice is deeply appreciated.

Changes to images are saved in the PPT file as properties of the image.
Exporting to a show makes no changes to the PPT file other than changing the
file type/creator info on Mac and giving the file a PPS rather than PPT
extension under Windows.  Other than that the files are identical.

Saving to a show will not affect your images or the mods you've made to them in
any way.

Differences in the video systems and setups between Mac and PC might cause some
color or brightness variations but these would apply to everything in the
presentation, not just the images.

Hi,

Yes, the image settings will be retained.

When you save a presentation as a PowerPoint Show about the only thing
that gets changed is the last letter of the file extension (from ppt to
pps).

If you double-click on a pps file then PowerPoint opens into slideshow
mode. Otherwise the presentations are the same.
