Hello,

often and for no obvious reason titles and captions of my bar charts
are cut off.
This is - I believe - independent of the font and font size. I'm not
completely sure,
but it could be that this happens only on copy and pasted charts I got
from another
presentation (which was made on a windows PC/Office).
Could it be an import error? If so, can I fix that?

Thanks a lot,
sourcemonitor

Hi SourceMan,

It is very hard to offer advice because there are so many unknowns here.

Graphs (aka charts) can be made in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. They can
be made in any of the above applications using either Microsoft Graph or
Microsoft Excel.

They can be copied and pasted either as Pictures or Objects.

Let's try to narrow down what you have.

What happens if you double-click on one of the graphs?

Hi there Sourcemonitor

I have this problem with certain OTF fonts.  I even opened a claim
ticket with Microsoft, but in the end they told me the problem was
already clearly identified, so I should send the info directly to the
such and such a person...  But then, I lost the information and never
followed up.  This problem has existed through all updates of 10.4 OS
and 11.2 Office.

My advice is just to change fonts.

The problem is rather dramatic on 10.4.5 and the 11.2.3 update, because
now even different characters are displayed with these OTF fonts from
Adobe!!!

Greetings, John
