Is there a way to save my presentation without having any other presentations
or any other unrelated files being saved?
Whenever I try to save one presentation, I save several.

Hi,

Press these keys on the keyboard:  Apple + S

or

Use File > Save.

If you use File > Quit then you will be prompted for all open presentations.

Re-reading your question has me scratching my head.  When you say you save
several...are you referring perhaps to individual slides?  If not, please
explain how several presentations are saved--the steps you go through.

Thanks,
-Mark
