MS Project graphics in PowerPoint 2004

I am pretty sure that this is simply a bug that has no work around, but
I am hoping to find one. Mac users are receiving MS PowerPoint files
that were made on a PC and contain MS Project charts. I am not sure how
the charts were placed in the presentation, but could attempt to find
out if it is not a known bug. In Office 2004, the chart is completely
messed up. Text boxes get compressed with letter on top of each other.

By the way, the document opens fine in Office X.
