Mac Forum / Applications / PowerPoint / December 2005powerpoint to quicktime movie won't import into FInal Cut
I'm on Mac OS 10.3.9 using Powerpoint 11.2 and have a deck with a bit of animation, movies, etc. embedded in it. I saved it to Quicktime, and it plays fine in Quicktime Player, but won't import into Final Cut Express v2.0.3. I get a message "File error: unknown file" if I drag and drop, or a "General Error" message if I use Import. If Quicktime can play it, why can't FC import it? Can you import other QT mov files into FC? PPT simply exports it as a MOV file through QuickTime. |
