One of our Directors has created a few Powerpoint Presentations for an
important meeting she has coming up this Thursday. She created them on her
G4 Powerbook (1.67GHZ, 2 GIGS RAM, 10.4.2) but now suddenly she's having
issues.
The files are somewhat large at 165-170 ME each but when I open them on any
of our other Macs....ie. G4 tower, 1.2GHZ, 1GIG RAM, 10.3.9 they pop right
up and you can begin a slideshow. When I try to open the same files on her
Powerbook (the same PB she created them on)we get the pinwheel of death
indefinitely and the files won't open completely...just hangs.
She's having no other issues with her PB and I've reinstalled Office several
times as well as deleted her Suitcase preferences (in case it might be a
font issue) but I can't even make a dent in the problem.
We're desparate to make this work on her laptop. Does anyone have any ideas?
All are running Office 2004.

Hi,
Please try the general troubleshooting tips offered here:

If the problem persists we can offer additional suggestions. Chances are
good the problem will disappear after doing the general troubleshooting.
