I am using Office 2004 on a Mac running OS X 10.4 and after editing the PPT
(originally created on an XP machine in Office 2003), I cannot open it on
the PC again. I am simply moving the file using a USB memory stick.

Thanks

There is a chance that the file got corrupted in the move, but the likely
cause is that the PC has not been updated to Service Pack 1 (SP1). On the
PC, start PowerPoint, go to the Help menu, choose Check for Updates, and
follow the instructions to install SP1.
