I have a user who cannot use a particular PP presentation.  Once the file is
opened, if you try to go into slide sorter or view the presentation it locks
up.  I have tried everything from resaving (Save As causes the problem to
happen as well) to reinstalling office.  All the other PP and office files
work fine.  It is just this one file on this one pc.  Several other users
have the file and it works fine for everybody else.  Office has been service
packed and has all the updates.

It could be a corrupt presentation.  Try fixing the problem by creating a
new presentation.  Once the new presentation is ready, go to Insert > Slides
from File, and select the presentation you're having trouble with.  Select
"Insert All Slides", and click "Insert".

Now, go to Format > Slide Design.  Under "Enable", select "All PowerPoint
presentations", and locate the presentation you're having trouble with.
Select "Apply to all slides", and click "Apply".  Now, with the new
presentation containing components of the old presentation, see if you're
able to access the Slide Sorter.  If so, you can continue using this new
copy and can delete the old one once you've verified that no data has been
lost.
