Does any Powerpoint 2004 Mac user find that it takes a long time (4
minutes) to open up a ppt file of 35-40 mgs?

FWIW, the initial opening of a windows created PPT with mac PPT, usually
take a fair bit of time to convert all the graphics meta files.  Once
that is done, I "save" the ppt file, and then it opens quite quickly
after that.

I have several 80 - 120meg ppt's (don't ask why they are so big), that
open right up in a few seconds.  LEss than 10 seconds to be sure.

This is on a PB 1.5GHz qith 1.5 Gbyte ram.
