Does any Powerpoint 2004 Mac user find that it takes a long time (4
minutes) to open up a ppt file of 35-40 mgs?

Yes, it does. But same on Windows XP. I have now put 1 MB RAM or more on
all my Macs and PCs and that makes it a bit more bearable.
