How do you create a link from a certain word/ phrase to another page?

I'm trying to create a presentation but to do that I need to make a
link from a word to another page...please help!!

You would have to create a separate text box for your word and then go to
Action Settings from the Slide Show menu. I do it to create nice navigation
buttons.

What Noel said, and ...

If you don't want an entire text box linked, you can highlight a single
word (or character or group of words), and set a hyperlink or Action
Setting for the highlighted word (either Insert > Hyperlink or Slide Show
> Action Settings).
