Greetings all just thought I would introduce myself as a proud new Apple
user/owner. Until recently I was a staunch PC user/owner and Linux
advocate.

Well things have changed and for the better to boot. I love my new
PowerBook and feel a fool for all those years of ignorance. The fact
that I now as an adult can afford a Apple does assist in my 'switch'.

Enough soap-boxing just wanted to voice a new convert and hopefully get
some help from fellow users.

thanks in advance

end transmission.

Welcome to the world of Powerbook (they're called that for a reason as I'm
sure you know by now). You'll find that most Mac users are willing to help
if you have a problem, others - not so much.

Congrats! BTW, what are the specs?
