Mine arrived yesterday.  Comparison:  much smaller, much lighter, a
tenth the capacity.  For weight purposes alone I think I'll be taking
this one about a lot -- it's nearly weightless.

Whether it's worth the price depends on whether you're among those who
can't figure why you wouldn't get an iPod Maxi for only fifty bucks more
or those who see something that blows its solid-state player competition
away.  Personally, I think it's amazing.  80% of the capacity of my
first iPod and oh, so much smaller.

More importantly, the Mini justifies its existence with the control
wheel clicker.  If this doesn't appear on the next-generation Maxis I'm
going to be (a) very surprised and (b) very disappointed.
