Hi,

I'm pretty interested in buying a 12" 800MHz iBook, and have been
doing quite a lot of reasearch. The best price I've seen it in the UK
is £849 (though since I'm a university student I can get it from the
Apple store for £747, not bad at all!)

However it occurred to me that the 12" 800MHz iBook was released
around November time, and has been the same price since then -- does
anybody know when (if?) Apple will be updating the range with faster
processors?

I'd be pretty annoyed to buy a iBook now to find out that an updated
range will be out next week, though of course if it's a long time I
will be happy buying now :)

Thanks for any help
Cheers

Obviously no one knows with any real certainty but a lot of online
folks point to the following web site for a general buy/hold guide:
