12 inch pb hit by car

hey

girlfriend drove over the machine (... guess she was i  a hurry,
normally she´s a great driver)

the display broke - everything else is ok, impressive, as it was in a soft case

the question:  can you replace the display from  the 1.5 GHz with the
one from a 1.33 Ghz 12 inch powerbook

easy job, screw-driver-wise?

i don't know for certain but i suspect that you can.

not by a long shot.

basically, it requires total disassembly.  it's insanely complex, with
roughly 40 screws of varying sizes, and you even need to snap off some
keys to get to two of the screws.

thanks - i guess it must die, then - the cd drive also wrecked i just
found out - arggg
