Thought I'd pass on some worldly wisdom that might spare you some
trouble. I just cleaned a very dirty white iBook G4. Never mind the
stupidity of designing a white computer in the first place. It's a bit
of built in obsolescence for ya.

Anyhow, this machine was very black. What I did was I used my iKlean
kit which consisted of a clean J cloth, and a lemon! Squeeze the lemon
into a dish. Dip the cloth into the lemon. Wring it out. Rub the dirt
away. Be careful around the trackpad. Moisture will make it not work
until it dries completely.  It's now white again. Very simple pimple.
Save yourself $40 odd bucks and don't bother buying the iKlean kit.
Enjoy, and next time don't buy a white computer! Duh.

The choices are white, black or metal. I will never again buy an
aluminum computer. I have a mild allergy. And I will never, ever buy a
black keyboard.

Thanks for the other tip, though. :)
