I'm looking for a cheap way to hook up cable to my 12 inch Powerbook
G4 and 15 inch Macbook Pro.  (Don't need anything fancy like the
Miglia TVMax).  Just don't want to buy a TV and I have free access to
cable through faculty housing at UND. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

PS - If there is a wat to do this wirelessly I would be willing to
spend some extra money.

Thanks again,

C

What's cheap mean for your wallet? My inclination is to suggest picking
up an EyeTV package used, but I don't know if the $100 or so they seem
to start at on the used market is cheap.

I use a Belkin USB video device that produces 240 x 320 video with
audio to record from my satellite TV reciever. You can also watch in
real time. The software I use is by EchoFX. Check out their website
for info on various devices you can use.

Thanks for your reply.  Can you tell me what the model number of the
device is?

Thanks,

C
