pismo and invisible airport card

Yes sometimes my pismo seems to forget its airport card .... the logo in
the menu bar becomes grey and sometimes it doesn't seem there is one
installed .... any idea ?

try the following:

delete/rename the file
/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/preferences.plist
and reboot. OS recreates the preferences.plist file. Set up the
networking again in System Preferences.

This doesn't change anything
